Yes, Robyn, that is beautiful. What is that, a peony? I love the treatment you have applied to it.

Thank you so much Diana and Linda.......it is just so motivating to receive positive feedback! Actually Diana, it's a camellia...... shot I took last year. Just applied a smudge and duplicated the layer and a different blend mode.....can't remember which one.....I generally just scroll through until I find something that I like.

Robyn - all your work is wonderful. I love checking your gallery to see what is up next. I think about you and hope your days are going better too.

Thanks very much Shari.
Barry started chemotherapy yesterday and so far things are going well.......early days yet though!
Are you over all your computer woes........or is that still an ongoing problem for you?

This is a tough and tiring time for you Robyn. I remember when I had my six weeks of daily radiation how it wears one down - and my husband - because everything is so intense for the time. But we all get through it. Just don't get too tired yourself. I am sure at times having your photographs to work on helps give you some space. Yes, I am still having my problems. Computer going back to the Doctor on Monday. Hopefully it works next time. One thing I learned with my cancer Robyn was that computer problems, although very frustrating, are not much in the big picture. That is why I can still go out and enjoy taking my photos on a sunny day and see the beauty in the world - and I do. As you and Barry will too.

Thank you for your thoughts Shari. Yes.......I CAN see a lot of good will come out of this experience. I think that in the future we will take more time "to smell the roses". I have complete confidence that this is just a small hiccup in the journey of life. Yesterday we attended the funeral of a friend's son. He was just 43 and died of Motor Neurone disease......a hideous, horrible disease with no cure (his parents nursed him for the last 12 months of his life)........it makes me realise just how lucky we are!

Robyn ...

Oh that is just so sad ... ...

On a brighter note .. I have just taken a look in your Gallery and I love the Camellia you have done it so well and it makes a beautiful picture.

Then I saw that wonderful stained glass ... wow those fruit are great. It would make a good window for a conservatory ... you really are great at this technique :)
