Sort order of threads in Forums

When I open a thread to read the posts, it goes from last to first. I could swear that other times (on a different computer) it goes from first to last. Is there a way to choose a preference?

I see the choices at the bottom of the main forum lists, but not within the individual forums.

Sorry, I still don't see where you mean. I don't see any choices at the bottom of the pages within the threads. As example, in this thread, post #1 is at the bottom. #2 above that, etc. It is like reading a book from the last page to the first. Perhaps that is the best way to follow along, but I was wondering if there was an option.

It isn't possible to change the order within each thread ... but at the bottom of each sub forum there is an option there ...

Try looking in your "User CP" and see what choice you have selected for thread usage. There is a section there that allows you to make a change. I believe this is where you need to change it.

If you resolved the issue, then discard. But if not,...

At top left of Forum, go to User CP
Under Settings & Options, go to Edit Options
Scroll down to Thread Display Options
Under Thread Display Mode

if you want replies within a Thread to go 1, 2, 3..., then select Linear - Oldest First

if you want replies within a Thread to go 3, 2, 1...then select Linear - Newest First

Then Scroll down and press Save Changes...
