Just a simple one -- with some daffodils in my yard -- in my gallery and here. I need to work on getting the "pieces" together a little better, and maybe getting a little fancier...

Hi Jo
Very nice.......and you are one step ahead of me cause I can't get a handle on stain glass no matter how hard I try.:(

I like it! The color variations are very subtle which draws your attention to the star of the frame--the flowers!

Thanks girls. Sherrie, I wondered if "subtle" was a good approach to stained glass, but I wanted to keep the flowers front and center. Thanks for the pat on the back with that.

Hi Jo ...

That is a good effect for the flowers ... if it had been stronger then they would have been over powered by the frame.

Love the subtle effect! Turned out very well! I haven't gathered courage to try the stained glass effect yet either.

That's lovely Jo.

As you might know, I just love doing stained glass. I think this technique lends itself to either a subtle or non-subtle effect. I've done both and I find either effect very satisfying. You mentioned about getting the pieces together.......my latest (not so subtle) one is very much like that..........I didn't even notice until I had finished it, and it was too late then.

Thats the funny thing about doing stained glass ... you really don't know how its going to torun out until the very end :)

Hi Jo,
I really like the way you did the 3 panel picture in your gallery. It's a neat variation on the one Robyn did. Very pretty.
