Thank you!
I learn so much from these projects. I used a burnt edge effect, the film strip tut, along with learning about applying the color I wanted to the film strip. Layers are my friend!!!
:D
I am glad you liked it!

Hey Wendy!
Thank you! I used a gradiant across the film strip ~ using the colors of WD's team ~ Red, White, and Blue. I even used a video about using the burnt edge effect, just to learn a little more. Not sure how much that plays into the entire shot, but learned something new!
Will be parusing through the galleries, to see what else catches my eye!

Hi ...
The gradient comes through really well ... and I like the way that the colours all tie in.
Doing something like this is such a good way of learning new techniques and its nice to see you give the image your own special touch :)

Thanks!
I was hesitant about building the film strip and using the gradient on it, but I think it turned out. Seems you are right about that little special touch. I guess you would have to know the team colours to really figure out what I did! I think the next project will be the globe and globe base. I did a little looking around at that before I started the film strip project. I have a wonderful shot of my niece that would be great in a globe.

Hi Tina,
Great job on the film strip photo. The gradient looks good. We learn so much from looking at others work.

Thanks guys!
I do some much looking around at everyone's gallery. There is so much good work out there! I think I am going to try Wendy's mini tut on the globe and base....
Maybe after the holiday...
