Hello all,
glad you like it.
Mrdonb,
I've no idea, if you read previous post you will see that I didn't take the photo. I think you're nit picking just for the fun of it.

Hi,
I don't want arguments but what is a Flit Boy?
It's not an expression I've heard before.

Hi,kev! That's a great collage! Are those wild ponies?(And I'd like to know what a flit boy is,too. There used to be a fly spray called "Flit",but I doubt that's it.)

Hi Alice,
they are semi wild. They belong to people called commoners who have ancient forest rights. The ponies live in the forest all year but they are watched over by the agisters and verderers. Every year there is a drift, you call it a round up. After this taxes are paid and some ponies are sold.

Alice,
the forest has its own court and ancient forest laws.
Agisters and verderers are court officials who ensure that the laws are kept, that taxes are paid, that animals are well cared for.
The court is in Lyndhurst and one thing they have, a relic from the past, is a stirrup. A fairly large stirrup and in the bad old days, all commoners' dogs had to to be put through the stirrup. If they were too big to pass through, their middle toes were cut of so that they couldn't run down the Royal deer.

Wonderful job on the blending and the pictures are just fine the way they are. I remember you had something a while back on the ponies in the forest and the story about them. Nice to bring attention to their plight.

Kev,
Mr Don may not be a "flit boy" but he's certainly all boy. Frankly, I find him rude and condescending most of the time. Too bad there wasn't someone around to give him a good paddling. He could use a darned good lesson in addressing his elders with a bit of respect.
Nice job on your image.

Jodi, Alice,
I'm certain there will be more ponies in the future and I hope in Autumn to get some when they put the pigs out to eat the acorns.
