Anybody else read this and think... " Ya, I wish ! '

no sign of spring in Mid Upsate NY ! It was -20 this morning and it didn't get much warmer...wind howling through the windows that are covered in plastic...everything frozen solid. The birds didn't bother coming to the feeder this morning. The branches on the old maple tree are fighting to stay intack...some didn't make it :(

So, let's post that inspiration again in about a month...hmmmm, better make it six to eight weeks.

I have Snowdrops, Crocus and Daffodils flowering in my Garden :) ... but its still so cold !!

Yes must be nice Wendy. I am green with envy of those already experiencing spring phenomenon. I apologize if I sounded unappreciative of our sites ' inspiration of the week ' notes. I didn't mean it that way at all....I tend to have a big mouth that spurts out without thinking.

If the temperature was -20 here then I think that I would be much worse than that :) ....

Its just that I'm in a happy mood today ... a group of us are off on Friday for a Mystery weekend. No idea where we are going but we have to take our passports with us .... should be FUN!!

My guess is that it will be France ... so I don't think it will be any warmer than here.

The Camera has its bags packed already (it even has its own holiday list :)) ... I am always on the lookout for Challenge Considerations !!

Quit your moaning about the cold. I am out in it all day with a rotten flu and shivering my n*ts off. Heck you only have to put the dog out and then the rest of the day it is sit in a warm house drinking hot java.

This is probably an evil thing to do :twisted: but I just can't help myself.

It reached 79 degrees here today and after the wettest winter on record in the Las Vegas valley it is blooming everywhere.

Our landscaping was installed last weekend and I am seeing all sorts of buds and blossoms. The barbeque is warming up and we are going to have a steak with mushrooms and peas tonight while we watch Jeopardy.

We have just completed our first year here and I really love all the seasons including the snow and the heat. It is quite a different place from the "strip" side of the valley that most people think of. How about you WayneWest? Do you enjoy living here at this time of the year?

Sounds wonderful though ... so I guess that we had all better come to your house for the BBQ. Seeing that the weather is so nice maybe we will just have to stay aroundfor a while :) :)

And speaking of spring . . . I'm sitting here in Albuquerque, looking out my office window at a clear blue sky and a plum tree in bloom. Up to high 60s today, low 70s this weekend. Loving it, especially when I remember what March weather was like where I called home until recently -- Juneau, Alaska.

Linda, Grant and I are actually very close...too close some would say...so my problem is that i am too sensitive when it comes to people i am close to and I guess I felt he was being mean to me.. I sent a pm asking what i had done wrong)...I've been ill and all doped up on medicine so that didn't help matters. I wasn't expecting Grant to post the apology on-air sort of speak. If it was anyone else i wouldn't have cared less..or I would have just been thinking " jerk, get a life" or something. I know he didn't mean any harm...just me havin' a female moment set it off. I feel like an idiot now..pretty much.
