ICC Profiles Epson R340

I have an Epson R340 photo printer and am currently printing on Epson Premium Glossy paper. Anyone have alink for a good ICC profile for this combination? The canned profile that came with the printer is not great IMO

In general the 'canned' Epson profiles work as expected (great) as long as the image is set up properly within the program for printing. With my Epson I use ' full color management' within Elements color settings and I print with an Adobe rgb'98 source space image, choose the right icc/paper profile, relative colormetric, in Epson driver choose the paper media...with Premium glossy I choose 1440dpi ( Photo setting ) ,turn off high speed, edge smoothing etc...choose ' No color adjust' from color management options. Print.

Are all the ICC profiles included with your R340 ? I couldn't find the profile downloads in the usual area that Epson has them for download for your particular printer. There should be around 7 or 8 profiles in your drop down print space profiles with your printer model #.

The R340 does not seem to have any ICC profiles.
I downloaded some for the R300 which is the same technology.
This seemed to do the trick-much improved colours.

The profiles for the R340 have a bizarre name (SPR...)

But they are installed when you install everything with the printer drivers.

Those profiles did not appear in my installation. I also read in dpreview forums that there not any profiles available for the R340. If I have any problems maybe I can contact ypu via a PM to obtain these files.

I have no idea if they'll work with a PC (I'm on a Mac). They're ICC colour profiles, so they should work.

They're in the driver you installed. Did you check in PSE's print menu to see if they were available?

yes...but i will check the disk

It's not a matter of checking, you'll probably have to install all the software and drivers.

If this doesn't help, let me know and I'll repost the colour profiles.
