peonies

I added 2 pics to my gallery -- a peony after a rain that I took a few years ago with a Nikon Coolpix 3100, and the same shot after playing in Elements. That Nikon was my first digital camera and I love it for close-ups. I can get inches away from the subject and get a clear shot. But it eats batteries. If I buy the 60mm macro lens I'm considering, I may get rid of the Nikon, but maybe not. It's a nice little camera to carry in your pocket.

Yes my daffodils are all up and I have a few hyacinths just coming through ... but no tulips as yet :)
