I don't know if this will work because my computer keeps crashing when on the internet but Elements is fine. It was a nice day today and I went out and took this daffodil (it was part of a clump). I selected using my new pen. Then I went into an adjustment layer patterns and was suprised to see my copy I did of the pond when doing Showing Off tut. I used it as a background and look what I have. I think it works. Now I have to look into how the photo got in patterns because that is a great way to make a background. It is fun experimenting.

I see a few flaws now that it is enlarged but I love the idea of using your own backgrounds.

Well done Shari ! Looks really nice.
I think before you go to bed tonight you should run a complete scan disc on your C drive..I mean, set it up to do it while you walk off and go to sleep.

Thanks Jodi but I did that yesterday. I am cleaning out everything. Did a disc cleanup and emptied recycle - you name it. It looks like some sort of bug has got me. This is really the only forum I use but I do go into a lot of sites from here. Everything is so slow it is a pain. I will get rid of Norton tomorrow when I am fresh and see what happens. Thanks again.

I really like picture #12 "Bridgette 12 Years Old". It's very artistic. Just the kind I like.

Ok Shari...another thing you can try ( I have it ) is regclean.....it cleans out your registry..very easy to use and it has an 'undo' if needed.

it gets put in your temp files and you run it from there.

Very nice shot! My daughter's laptop was doing that a while back and it turned out it was adware that had taken control of the internet. Download the free virus software AVG and run it (disable your other one first). It cost me $60 to have the tech do just that. Here is a thread Norm started about it. I'm sure Ray or Norm would be happy to help you out with it.

Looks like you got the selecting with the pen down. I sure do not yet.
Great image. My wife has 100s of Jonquils and even more Day Lillies and Iris in various beds so I have a gazillion flower shots. Love them all

Shari,
Brilliant selection...I've had my Wacom tablet sitting in it's box for weeks now, you've spurred me on to getting it set up on my new pc.
