What a great abstract ... how did you do it ??

Last week kt posted a stain glass type picture that looked interesting to me, but not only that, kt gave a detail discription of how it was done. I tried to follow those instructions to see if I could replicated what was done. Mine didn't come out quite the same because I deviated somewhat from kt's instructions.

Here's what I did. I downloaded a pattern, which is an uncolored blank, from a stain glass web site. I proceeded to color each block on one side and duplicating that color in the exact opposited block on the other side so that it would look like a mirror effect. It took quite a while to play around with the different colors. Next I applied the filter, distort, glass and then used an adjustment layer changing the hue and saturation. Next I moved the lighthouse from a picture I took last summer at the seashore and placed it on the left. I did the same thing with the crane which starts at lower left and goes to upper right. Notice the American flag which is actually part of the crane. That's about it.

Len, what a neat abstract effect you were able to create. Thats the best part of creating, taking some instructions and adding your own creativity to it. Well done!
