I just installed PE 4 and I have some questions. I notice that PE3 is still in my Applications folder so it wasn't upgraded. So now I have PE3 and 4. Is that OK?

The install DVD has a folder entitled Goodies. What do I do with it. It looks like there are Backgrounds, Frames and Scrapbook. How does one use them?

I also see a Seiko Epson something to be installed. Do I need to install it?

There was no documentation about these things in the Goodies folder.

Thanks:confused:

I don't have PSE4, so could you please post a Screen Capture of the Goodies folder (with all subfolders opened) and we'll be able to provide more help as to where the stuff go.

Hi Sandy ...

Each version of Elements is a fully program so it isn't an update really ... quite a few of us do keep older versions on our computers as it helps when there are queries.

Plus PSE3 supports a few more of Grant's tools that PSE4 does :)

Hi Sandy ...

You can use Pixentral to post images.

First resize your image using "save for web"
Set the longest side to 750 pixels
then adjust the quality slider until the image is around 150K.
and save it with a new name.

http://www.pixentral.com/index.php

Follow the instructions on the site and then when your image is uploaded copy the URL from just above the image and paste it into a message here :)

Sandy

To use a redirect like this the image must be on line for it to work.

These are PNG files. Just move the whole folder onto your hard drive amd open the files through Editor just like any other image.
