I am a little frustrated right now. I'm on a parenting message board and I'm trying to upload a picture of my son for the avater. I've done this a million times - cropped an image to 80 pixels, 1"x1" and it falls within the parameters allowed, which is either 80x80 pixels or 19.5 kb, whichever is smaller.
I'm cropping the picture correctly, but when I try to upload it, it says the image exceeds 20000 bytes. When I resize the image, in the resize window dialogue box, it says the size is 15.2k. I have other images that I've used for my avater, which I've resized the same way, and were fine.
When I look at the image size in windows explorer, sure enough it says it is 28kb. What am I doing wrong? How can I resize this correctly following the guidelines? Help!
