Is that old team photo supposed to be a future challenge? Or is it a team of horseshoe_playing crabs?

I'd like to have a go with it as challenge number 111 or so.

Look carefully and you will find a crab in the image.

Mike,

Have been to view your images I really like both of them ... good blending into the clouds in No 1 and what great flames in No 2 (that book was well worth the money!)

Wendy,

Thank you for your comments :) - the book is really quite inspiring and definitely worth the money.

My trouble with these challenges is that I spend too long playing around before getting down to producing something. :? For the past couple of weeks I have tried put very quick and simple entries together.

Your idea was great (again) and very different to the other entries, most of which followed the same theme in one way or another. I also liked the sequence - as you did with the wind farm challenge.

Mike,

Sometimes I think that doing a quick idea can give better results than spending ages on it ...

My first two were very quick ... simply stock images with the cut out inserted (and a lemon or two). Last one was more complicated as I had to make the wall, table and plate. Then use the 3D tut to do the crab inside.

One tip is when you have made something (like a wall) save it into a file ... next time you need a wall you can just copy it and change the colour with a Hue & Sat layer. That does speed up doing Challenge entries :)

And there's me with a vision of you lurking with camera in your local shop - you know looking a bit fishy

Mike,

Now that would be funny !!

On the other hand another way I get background images it taking the photos ... I do get some strange looks when I am photographing pavements, tree bark, cobbles etc :)
