Colleen,
thank you.
Up to now I've had no success with this effect but Dave makes it very easy.

Hi,
thanks. I know how you feel but we all feel like that, so much to learn, but gradually it sinks in.

Oh wow, Kev. Did you get to take that photo. You know my hubby worked for NASA for 2 years and I never once got to see one of those things lift off. He always got to have all the fun!:(

Sherrie,
no I didn't take the photo, it was a download from the site given in the book.
I've never been lucky enough to visit the States and now I'm too old.

Excuse me!?! too old???? when do you become "too old"?

Well, I've never been to the UK and probably never will be, but my excuse is "too poor" :(

And I'm too poor because I spend too much on health problems and hobbies like cameras (I'm suffering with lens lust right now) and computer software. :o

I'm with ya JO. Just when I think I have everything I need. . . there comes something new!!! And since I've started with PSE4 the list is soooooo long. But I'm loving this hobby. Just started a new job on Monday after being off for 5 months, so that's gonna put a real cramp in my style. It's only part time, but right now the hours are not certain so I'm just taking it one day at a time. I'm off today and tomorrow so I plan to get some catching up done.
And of course it'll mean extra $$$ for you know what!!!

TMI I know, just needed to vent a little.

Great work! I just learned that technique. Not sure if I can do it again without the instructions but it is so cool!
I have been to your country. Great place. Welcome to the Forum. This is a wonderful place. Lots of people to answer all of our questions.

Great breakout.. perfect image for it.

Just wondering if you tried a starfield type of backgound? It might be a bit much, or it might look cool.

Kev, you're never too old. We all have to grow up but we don't have to grow old and I think that is the case with you, at least the pictures you submit say as much!:)

I was wondering if it might not be quiet right. It tends to be a bit stark :)
