Can't open CR2 files

Hi, I have PSE3&4, with a new camera:1-D MarkIIN, cannot open raw files in editor, until I convert to tif or jpeg. I have the 3.2 camera raw version, and could with the Canon XT. What am I forgetting to do?
Only able to view and edit in DPP or ZB raw converter, still not able to view pictures in windows, even though I've added CR2 to file types.
I feel like I'm forgetting something, but don't know what!:confused: :(

Try downloading the latest Raw plug-in from Adobe; they have version 3.3 out now. Perhaps your camera isn't supported. Just a thought.
