I can vouch for that Robyn. I have three page curls in a matter of 15 minutes and it only took that long because I added text and a border :D

Ray,
is it more difficult for programmers to design programs for Macs or is it that they're brainwashed by the big M?

Thanks for the tip Kev. I have downloaded the filters and have a couple of questions for using them.
I was playing around with the book and the box filters and I can't seem to figure out how to get a different picture on each side of the box/each page of the book. I'm sure it's something simple, but this mind can't seem to figure it out this morning. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!

Kev,
This issue comes from a long time ago. Microsoft, at the time, knew that to get Windows 3.1 accepted, they needed to have a way for hobbiyst programmers (home) to do their own stuff so that this would get Windows boxes moving. They came out with Visual Basic. But they kept it for their own platform (for obvious reasons!). The main advantage of VB was its price : under 100$ for a full dev kit.
Next, when big corporations saw the potential of Windows (for cost reasons), they jumped on the Windows train with either VB or Microsoft other dev kits (Studio, C++, FoxPro, etc).
All these kits were Windows only, making it double cost for programers to make Macintosh version, having to learn and implement another dev tool.
Is it more difficult? I don't think so, from what I have seen, OBjectve C has the same learning curve as Microsoft C++. AppleScript is a bit more complicated than VB Script, but also more powerful (it comes with the gain).
Today, there are cross platform tools, like Java, CodeWarrior, RealBasic, etc, so it's not an issue of dev tool availability. It has to do more with publisher's ignorance or unwillingness to seek out and reach a new market :)

Hi All,
glad you like the filters.
Carol,
when you are creating your cube or cylinder you will see toward the bottom where it says X side and below that Image.
the X side is the image you opened the cube with, click on the arrow and you will see Y side, Z side and back ground. Click on the Y side for example and then click on the image. select the image you want to open and the click OK. The image will be loaded into your cube. Repeat for the Z side.
Hope this helps.

Laura,
if you're using a PC, this will work in PE3.
Unzip the download file, copy the file and paste it to your plug in folder.
Before you download you'll see a registration number, take a note of this.
When you first use the filters click on registration and enter the number and away you go.

Two questions, will this work in 4 (I don't have 4 installed yet but I plan on it)
and sorry to be stupid, but how do you get at them? I have never used a "plug in" before in PE

Hi,
the filters work in PE3 and 4.
When you have installed them and have an image open go to Filters and you should see Vizros. Click on this, select register, enter the register number and then you will be able to pick the filter you want.
