Tried as I might I could not entice Adobe to leave the "Backward" feature for Effects in the new releases.

Can anyone tell me how I might recreate in E4 how I use the "Backward" feature? It is this...

I apply the Photo Corners to a photo. I answer "Yes" I wish to keep the Effect. I then use the Edit Backward feature to open up the Layers so I can change the color of the background and the color of each of the Photo Corners.

I can't seem to open up the Layers in either E3 or E4 and I REALLY NEED THIS!!!!

*I attach an example.

Thank for the help!

Hi Sherry ...

In PSE1 and PSE2 this sort of thing was done by Elements running an action ... the last stage of that action was flatten the image. So if you did Edit>Undo then it undid flattening the image.

They changed the way that Elements does the frames so you are no longer able to do this and I can't find a workaround for it. However it is quite easy to make your own corners and there is a Video tutorial in the subscriber area, 30th September 2005, showing you how to make corners (and they are nicer than the build in ones)... if you need any help with it then just let us know and one of us will talk you through it .. :)

I went to the Tutorial Area and did not see any dates or a title about corners?

Sherry, are you a subscriber? You will need to subscribe in order to view the tutorial Wendy is speaking of. It is well worth the money, there are over 100 video tutorials to view.

Do let us know if this solves your problem.

Hi!

Well, I thought I was ... do I need to subscribe to more than the magazine? I'll look and see.

Thanks!

Hmmmm... I can get into the Subscriber Area but choosing the Tutorials does not give me an area with dates??? Do I go elsewhere?

Confused!

Hi Sherry ..

Sorry about that ... most of the tutorials that are added are added to the Video section so I tend to forget to mention Video :o

Once you have tried it our do let us see your corners :)
