Is there a way to put a colored drop shadow on letters. I want the letters to be one color and the shadow to be a different color.

or would it be easier to just duplicate the text layer, change the color of the type on the duplicate and then just move it into the position I want it to show????????

Any input is appreciated!

The easy way is to get Jodi's Missing Styles which has coloured drop shadows (plus lots of other useful things). I can highly recommend this approach although there are a couple of other ways of doing it. For example you can make your own shadow by copying the text, changing the colour, blurring it and moving it into a drop shadow position. Or you can add a black drop shadow, move it away from the text, put it on a separate layer, colour it and move it back to drop shadow position. For both of these manual methods you have to simplify the text.

Jodi's Missing Styles is the way to go :)

You won't be sorry if you get Jodi's CD. There are a gazillion styles to apply to your images. Shhhh...now, we don't want Jodi to get too big a head...but I just love it!
