Wendy , Jodi & Kev - Thank you for your kind words. They really mean a lot.
Kev - I've dubbed you "King of Montages" so your comment was especially appreciated.
Thank you all.

Very cool! I haven't got the montage thing down yet. Just don't seem to have an eye for it.

I love the montages too but I spend WAY  to much time reading the forums to work on pictures :D Seriously, I learn a lot from reading the posts.

Marcia,
I think it looks GREAT!
As an additional 'creation', I'd also like to see the background image just as a stand-alone image without the coloured inserts.......I think that could look really stunning!:)

Marcia
Great montage and lovely images.
I too, would love to see just the background image without the inserts, but with the title and border. Heck, maybe all of them could be framed. :D :D

Yeah, Marcia, it looks like it's something worth framing, nice work!

Yes that's what I meant..........still with the border and text...........should look really good I think.

That's what I thought :D I was just agreeing with your idea. :)
If it looks how I think it does it will be awsome.

It's a very impressive collection of photos but the background alone would be a great candidate for the showing off tut without the blur. Great image!

Oh, how gorgeous! My vote is with everyone else. I'd like to see the background. CJ

Here's just the background picture. Actually, I didn't do anything to the background in the montage. It just naturally looks blurred and is gray because of all the steam. It almost looked surreal.

Hi Marcia,
Re the blur, if you're talking about Nancy's comment about the blur, I think she is actually referring to leaving out the blur part in the tutorial, not from your original process.
Again, nice work!

Marcia that's a beautiful montage.
New Zealand is a great place isn't it. We were there last year on a holiday and I can't wait to go back again :)
I also really like the background on it's own.....sometimes less is more ;)
Great work

Came to this thread a little late, but my first thought was how gorgeous the background photo is-almost mystical. Great job on both!
