Hi ...

We are talking about something different here ... I just found the course and its certainly not a "hobby course". They are courses for people who are intending to make a career in design ... its a tough industry and the better your skills the more chance you have to succeed.

The course you mention is in fact one of a whole series ranging from basic to advanced ... :)

If it is for professionals or would-be professionals, it is good value but for the amateur, I don't think so.

Hi Karen ...

The price is just for one module of a complete package ... now the while thing costs way more :)

Karen: "go to buggery". Oh, I am so happy to be an Australian and have expressions like that. Though if I used it in the U.S. I would really get strange looks. Do explain it for all the Americans on this board. You gave me my laugh for the day.
Also love your new avator, but miss your flag and bouncing kangaroo. Do you make your avatars yourself. I cant find any animated Australian ones. Would love to have my koala walking. Jean

Two Aussies, I found some Australian animated bits and pieces in "Animation Factory" and purchased a month's subscription and downloaded anything I thought I would need then or in the future.

As for "go to buggery", it means forget it - I am not definitely am NOT going to ....... And after Wendy's comment I am not going to look up the origin

Hey everyone,
Sessions.edu is something I've been doing for about 3 years. Its more of a online-college type course. Most of the students who take them actually go for the full certificate (which is what the school really wants anyway). Again, its very different than the online training you see here. Its all based on 6 in-depth lessons, student/instructor interaction, as well as full-blown critiques of work done in each lesson. On average it takes a student 8-12 weeks to get through. Anyway, just thought I'd try to clear things up. Its not really the same type of training you see here.
