I whipped up this fun trading card today. I had the measurements at 2.5x3.5, matching actual cards my son has. But, when I tried to print four of them on a 5x7, it shrunk and left more white on the top and bottom of the card. So, printing to maximize the use of photo paper has to be worked on...

take a peek! I used the shadowed box from a previous wedding shot I did... all I had to do was duplicate that layer to the other file (Layer>Duplicate Layer, make sure the other file is open and you can copy it over--whaa laa!).

I'm assuming you blurred and disguised them purposely with Groucho Marks glasses for us ? :)

It's very well done...

Yes - I wanted to protect their identity and not have to get all their permission to share my work here...so I burred and disguised them for the purpose of posting only :D

I passed out the cards at the game tonight and the parents loved them. Another parent saw them, along with the individual portraits I took...she asked if I could do her team this weekend too! I didnt plan on making more trading cards...but, we shall see! I dont know if I can do it. Processing the last batch of team photos was a big chore (processing raw). Now to come up with a new trading card AND more team pics? sigh....

Very well done. Sounds like you may have yourself a part time job as team photographer:D ;)
