I see so many beautiful pictures - pieces of vacation memories, cool orbs, scenery, great shots of kids. How do you all share these with your non-forum friends and family? CD? Upload to a place like Snapfish or Kodak gallery? Just gather around the computer once in awhile? Do you print them and frame them? Anybody ever made poster-sized prints of your work?
I know, I know, lots of questions...
In my family, we do an annual family calendar and I will be gracing that with my newly-minted PS skills - but that's not until next December when we start working on the one for next year!

Share them??? with family??? No way :D :D
Just kidding.
I really don't print that much. My kids are getting too big for picture taking:rolleyes: , so my niece and nephews are my main "people" subjects.
If we do an event or occasion I will burn a cd (non photoshopped) and just give them the photos to do with as they please.
The rest for me is just playing and learning. I will email creations, that turn out well, and I do have one I will be trying to get made into a poster that my brother-inlaw likes. so we will see how that goes.

Like Gary, I don't print too much, my kids are also to grown-up for picture taking, so my two granddaughter's are my subjects. Will have my first grandson coming this June so my camera will get lots of work then. What I did this year was make a best of 2005 pictures I took of family, events etc. burned them on a DVD with appropriate music (just one song) and gave them to my family. I also did the best of my daughters wedding the same way. That way everyone can sit back and watch on the TV. Just got involved with Elements 4 this January, so who knows what I'll do by years end. Just in the learning process right now:D

I, too, make calendars, and my in-laws tell me it's the best present of the year. I made a couple of slide shows and a video of my daughter and family members and gave that as a Christmas gift too. I send some of my pics via email. I also have a web page, and I've started making html photo galleries through PSE4 and posting them on my webpage. It's a great way to share several creations. I've also started making note cards of pictures and either using them myself or giving them as gifts. I've printed some pictures- I gave my husband two for Christmas and I've started hanging some in my daughter's room. And, I also had one of his pictures printed on canvas (to look like a painting) and it turned out great! I occasionally make photobooks (printed through Shutterfly) to give as fun gifts. Of course, that still leaves a lot of creations that never see the light of day; they're just for my enjoyment.

Hi ...
I have to admit that once I have finished things then I don't do much else with them. I do send images out by email ... but rarely print, they just go into iPhoto and I look at them that way.
I did do a wedding a little while back and that one I made into a slide show on disk (after Photoshoppings) for them ...

Val,
I too am interested in printing . I am in the early(baby) stages of learning this and I want to print them in all sizes and hang in my house. I have 4 grandkids and I had played around with three pics and my last one asked if I was going to do one of him.:)
My husband is a carver( Victorian Horses, caricatures, canes etc.). He always wanted me to have a hobby, I tried the carving but you have to like blood.:(
This is I hope my new hobby but I want to print them and have my on gallery. I dont't want to frame them all, maybe I could mat them and then put that layer on something else, not sure..
