Hi everyone,

I am a newbie to PSE. After attending a Workshop in Atlanta last week, I came home with a few cool ideas. After working with a picture, and getting it the way I'd like, I tried printing it at 13x19. It wouldn't print at that size. What steps do I take in order for the final outcome to print at that size?

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Would you be able to describe what you mean by

It wouldn't print at that size.

You got an error message, the printer refused to print, etc.. ? With more information, we'll be able to help.

Yeah, sorry about the imcomplete information. Not enough coffee yet!

Anyway, it will print, but not at 13x19. It first printed at 5 1/2 x 3 3/4, then it printed at 5 3/4 x 8, then I got it to around 8 x 11/5. I have tried so many things at this point, I don't know what changes caused what difference in the printing.

It would appear that, according to the user guides, changing the page set up to 13x19, then making sure my print size is 13x19 would result in an appropriately sized print. I opened the file this morning and enabled the rulers, and it shows my files as being 13x19.

BTW - I am using the CanonI9900

Thanks

Ok, then you need to first make sure File / Page Set up reflects the choice of paper (13 x 19, with or without border). Then, click on File /*Print, then at the top of the dialog box, make sure to select your document's size (if you can't locate it, choose Fit On Page).

Well, after hours and hours, I finally figured it out. On the print set up page, if you don't select "fit to page" after selecting the appropriate paper size, it automatically set it to print on an 8x11.5. Once I did this....a wonderful 13x19 print!!!!!

Thanks to anyone that read my orignial post. I look forward to learning more, and I am sure I will be back here often.
