Okay, I give up on ImageShack tonight. I'll use Pixentral. Anyway . . . tonight near sunset I went out in the back yard and took a series of 5 pictures and then stitched them together into this panorama. It could use some more tweaking, but it was fun.

Wow !!! Nice picture :)
All I can see right now is sand and slush (the state of snow when it's between frozen and totally liquid, for those who never seen the real thing.. hehe!)

Nice job! This is something I really want to try. I'll have to wait for nicer weather to find the appropriate shot.

I envy you, to look your backyard and see such beautiful landscape and the picture looks great. Like Ray, I see snow and frozen slush. Oh well spring is just around the corner.

Very nice! I think I recognize those mountains. We flew into Albuquerque one or two of the times that we visited our daughter at Eastern New Mexico Univ. Pretty awesome to swoop down over the mountains and into the city.:)

Hi Linda ...
You have made a nice job of the panorama ... and I can't see any of the joins :)
Its a great subject for a panorama but you must have had some problems matching the changing light ..

Great Job, Linda.
I especially like the sun and shadow. It must have been an early morning shot. the shot is so clear and it is stitched very well. As Wendy says the stitch lines are not noticeable.

Thanks, everyone, for your nice comments. Yes, we have a great view from our yard, but, sadly :( , not from inside the house. We have to go outside and sit on the deck for this view. But -- since the weather is so nice here, we can spend a lot of time out there. Yes, Wendy, the light DID change from picture to picture, and I did have to do some playing, mostly with the sky, to get it one consistent shade. The picture was taken in the evening, looking east -- with sun setting behind me in the west.

Linda,
Sorry to hear that you have to travel so far to enjoy this beautiful view. ;) . I have about a six hour drive to the nearest foothill.
Great stitching job. As some others have said, your photo appears seamless.

You don't need a backyard panorama to stitch some photos together. This attempt is not so flawless, but fun nevertheless. It came from the backyard of my apartment complex after a snowstorm. The camera lens seems to expand the panorama.

Linda,
Very nice! I have not tried this one either but you did a wonderful job.

You're right - panoramas can be found just about anywhere. You also did a very nice job.

I stitched five photos together to get this composite of the inside of a friend's apartment to celebrate the cleaning of it!

The lines are pretty visible, but at the time I put it together, it seemed like a feat!

Hi Helen ...
Nice work on the backyard in the snow ... it looks good. The other one made me laugh I really would never have thought of doing a panorama of that ... but it is good fun :)

Helen, I enjoyed your snow pano. And I have to admit, I wondered the same thing as Norm regarding the "room" one -- ha:D
