Here's one I've done just for fun.
It also allowed me to practice selections, add grass and insert a sky.

What a good idea making something and practising selections at the same time ... you have done a great job on it and it makes such a cute image. Its well put together and amusing !!

Kev, terrific selection on the cats and the scorpion (why do you need a tablet ;) ). I like the nice crisp clean border around the image - well done :)

Maybe one day I'll get a tablet, trouble is I want the best, whatever that is.

Well the best Wacom makes is the Cintiq...you draw directly on the tablet and it shows up on the tablet...very nice indeed with a very nice price...not so nice to the poor :( BUT the Intuos is really nice...I'm looking at the 9 X 12 ...debating it. B&H Photo prices go up and down on this. Catching them on the perfect day with the perfect price when the mood strikes you to buy...that is the best moment :) I'm currently using 6 X 8 Graphire 3 and quite happy with it.
