Have a good at Browndogs latest addition to his gallery. It is a beautiful image combining techniques from several video tutorials.

Thanks for the nice comments! :)

Bill, Lady Venus went after a Canadian Goose once. The goose got the best of her and she swims off in the other directions when they are around now. ;)

Hi Bill ...

What a neat idea ... did it start off as two images or one ??

Hi everyone. I really like the way Lady Venus was treated in your work Karen. I had been trying to think of a way to do a breakout myself. The shadows are a very nice touch and I will want to try that myself some time. Wendy, this idea was on my mind for some time but I couldn't think of a way to do it with the pictures I had available. The dog picture was actually flipped horizontally and the dog pulled out using the magic extractor, and then the original picture was cropped and made into a photo replicate. Because of rotation of the original I had to put it on the edge to hide the cut .

The geese were on a photo by themselves but the water was very different than the dog picture. So I used the magic extractor to pull out the geese and then used the water from the other photo as a background so that the water looked the same.

Wendy, I did this one fairly quickly and struggled with how to do the background. That is why I made it into kind of a cartoon. This is where experience would have helped. Karen used a brush on hers to make it more interesting. Do any of you have any other ideas?

Thanks for your thoughts.:) :)

Hi Bill ...

I actually like it just as it is ... there is a lot going on in the image itself and I think that a more busy background may just detract from it.

My vote is to leave it just as it is :)
