I made a montage as sort of a birthday card for my "Little Sister." She and I were matched by the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Org. back in 1998 and have had a close relationship ever since...she's like part of the family and even has a room at our house. Some of the snapshots I used weren't the best quality but are meaningful for her. I had a hard time narrowing down which photos to use. She has two big photo albums full of photos we've taken of her and her activities while with us. She spends every other weekend with us and we take her to church and Youth Group. She goes camping and on vacation with us frequently.

Diana,
great montage.
She'll love it, an image to look at and talk over the memories it calls to mind.
Nice selection of the main image.

Oh, Diana, she'll cry . . . in fact, I almost cried myself! Very nicely done.

Diana,

That is very special. I know she will love it. Very lucky girl...

I looked through the rest of your photos to see if I recognized any places since I grew up where you live. Didn't see anything though. :)

Diana - What a lovely montage! I'm sure she will cherish it. What a great program - I'm sure you have received as much blessings from it as she has. This montage is definitely a project of love.

Oh Diana - that is so so special. She will love it. My husband was a big brother many many years ago. I know the montage and the memories with your family will always be cherished.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words and compliments. Ashley and I have birthdays a few days apart and this year we have reversed ages...she's 16 and I'm 61. She's a sweet girl and she's brought as much or more into our lives than we've done for her. She was touched by the montage. I printed a 5 x 7 and put it in a clear lucite stand-up frame and she has it on her dresser here.

Jan, exactly where did you grow up around here? I don't really have any photos taken of local areas (except around my yard).

Diana,
Great work! My only suggestion would be that you add a drop shadow to each of the photos that is overlaying another. It will give more depth to the result.

Thanks everyone, for the comments.:)

John, you're absolutely right, I intended to do that but was in a hurry to complete it before Ashley came over and forgot that step. I have updated the image in my gallery. It really makes a difference in the depth.
