Im not even sure how to word this question without sounding stupid but here it goes...
When I go to perform a task such as lets say moving an object, I then have to use the accept the change checkmark thing before the program will allow me to do anything else. I find this to be very frustrating and am quite sick of my computer beeping at me when I forget. Is there a way to turn this infuriating option off?

Hi Kat ...
I suspect that when you are moving the item (using the move tool) then you are changing it slightly ... maybe making it just a little smaller or larger. Elements is asking you to confirm that you want to commit the changes ...
I don't know of anyway to turn that off ...

Thanks Wendy, I was afraid of that. Sometimes I can see that being a handy tool but I also think thats what the undu button is for. Having to click to accept or decline the change is just aggrivating for me. Maybe if the adobe gods are listening they could create a patch to be able to have the ability turn that function OFF!

On a move if you re-size it demands the confirm (checkmark) otherwise no. You will also see the prcent size boxes appear. If you only click in the center and move you are ok - if you click the corners and don't even do anything - you get the confirm box.
I just checked all these in PSE4.

you can also avoid the checkmark by clicking on your keyboard Enter key after using the tool...this goes for crop tools as well. I know...6 of one, half a dozen of the other...ya still got to click on something...:)
