If you carry one of these around your neck you will never ever have to explain that you really are interested in photography. I considered it and then checked the technical specs and the operating temperature range is only 0° - 45° so no use half the year in Canada and no use to Jodi when she goes visit the devil :) . I guess I'll save my money.

Of course for a mere Can $300,000 you could have bought the Phantom (http://www.ephotozine.com/equipment/buyersguide/fullbuyersguide.cfm?buyersguideid=14) back in 2001.

I have tried a Blad and it's almost worth having just for the satisfaction of listening to the quiet purr the shutter makes - no nasty clicks with a Blad :) .
