OK, yes, I was playing with making wood again yesterday so I added the ' Wildflower' ...from ' showing off' tutorial to a wood surrounding...I played again this morning with wood and changed it over a bit...I'm working on one for my gallery now....almost done but I have to bring my son for his 2.5 hours of pre-school now. I do like this one better....aged painted wood. Stay tuned.

Yes I have updated my gallery with a couple of new pics. I'm not really sure this thread is going to due what Tami Fry intended, because it's hard not to make comments on what someone has done...
Take a look at Jodi's photos.....Would you really not want to comment on them....NOT ME! Jodi, the wood is so real looking, what a wonderful job...I agree with Nancy --- A tutorial would be great. :)

Just put up a little tiny gallery. I'm very much an amateur.

We aren't suppose to chat here so I put the old painted wood tutorial you asked for in the Pixel Hangout. I think maybe we'll have to chat over in the Gallery area about new images here....unless you can think of a better idea.

Why don't we try this.....
Each person make a new thread with their updated gallery and people can comment in that thread...
Ex:
Jodi for instance would start a thread Jodi's Gallery Updates...
Everyone click there and see what she did and in that thread make comments...
Then the next person, say me would start a new thread Tami's Gallery Updates... and people could post about my stuff in that thread :)
So forth and so on. The main purpose of this was so anyone that updated and anyone that wanted to see who updated could check here for the latest and greatest!

One other question if I may - if we want to bring attention to someone's gallery we are admiring should we start a thread on that gallery here in order to keep the other sections a little cleaner?

Tami,
This is just great, thank you for setting this up. I think it will help clean up a lot of other threads too. Maybe a few teething problems until we sort out the "rules" but these suggestions sound good.

Nancy,
Sure just create a thread "Fred's Gallery" or whatever with the link to what you found :)
Have Fun!

With our own galleries - I can't decide which is the best way to go.
e.g Should I create a thread called RobynL gallery and then whenever I have added a new gallery pic I then retrieve this thread - even though it maybe a couple of weeks later - or start a new thread. What do you Tami and other forum members think?

Robyn,
I think just create a new thread and I will go thru every couple of months and
clean up the posts.
