Hi Bill,
That's really wonderful and your title stopped me in my tracks. What a great tribute to your dogs. Our past and present dogs send Frango a big wet kiss but no chocolate.
ps. aren't bubbles fun?

Bill,
Nice work but personally I would try to darken the dogs in the bubbles, they are a little lost in the background.

Bill, beautiful job. You guys here keep doing some amazing stuff and your ideas just make me want to try. Trouble is I can't get of the computer now that I'm hooked. Keep the ideas coming (or better not.....nothing is getting done around my house);)

Well done Bill. I love the background in this image.

Nice job Bill - good use of the bubbles. I would rotate the bubble just a tad though and get the highlight off their faces. Then I think it would take care of them being lost in the background because their faces would show more.

Thanks folks.
Yes Valerie I get stuck here too.
Ellen. We do love our dogs don't we.
Nancy and Kev - I have incorporated both of your suggestions. I originally thought making the bubble dogs transparent would help in the thought but the bubbles send the message well enough without the transparency.:)
Thanks for you ideas.

Hi Bill,
now it's really good.
The message comes across and we can see the beautiful dogs.

Very touching Bill...ya know, I read somewhere and also heard it a few times...our pets stay with us until it is our time to go to the other side. If I wanted to believe this ( sure, why not) I suspect Frango has quite a bit of company in your family :)

Bill,
That's much better now - their faces really show up well. Good job!

Hi Bill ...

What a great idea for a montage ... the transparent bubbles really do bring home the message !!

I like it all ... it just looks so good and its a very imaginative idea. Well done !!

Absolutely beautiful! And yes, we do love our dogs. They become such a big part of our lives. What would we do without them? I know I would be a lost soul.

Thanks for sharing,

Sue

Hi Ellen
Well we have all been there haven't we. it is really a sad day when we have to go to the vet for the lst time with our dog. Mokka had a lymphatic cancer and she wass only 8 years old. She went down like a rock.

Two weeks ago I had to take Frango in due to an illness that was preventing her from keeping anything down. My 9 year old daughter Julianna was with me. An older man had come in just in from of us with another chocolate lab who appeard to be 12 or 13. The man's wife had gone into the examination room ahead of us and we talked to the man for several minutes. He explained that the dog had just gone too far with hip displasia and was in too much pain.

After a short while the woman came back out crying and walked quickly out the door past me. As the man passed me I touched his arm and he and I looked at each other with tears in our eyes too .

They truely are our family members and they mean so much to us that it is very hard when we lose them.:(

Well I am sitting here crying. Been there, done that, and it really hurts. But I would not trade the time I did have with my babies--they all have enriched my life SO much. So...we keep loving them, until.................

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss Bill. My deepest condolencies. I myself lost 2 of my kitties last year Musti in july she had a braintumor and then Pepper very suddenly of infection of the heart muscle in december.... still feels like yesterday. They truly are part of the family. I miss my babies so much.

Your image is a wonderful tribute to your dogs. I love the bubbles. Great job!

Thanks for the note Di and back to you on your cool avatar. That location is in a small town called Index, Washingotn. It is the same place as the montage of my son and his friend climbing Mt. Index in my gallery. I think both of the mountain pictures were taken from the same place.:)

I do like your second try but I love the idea that the past is present with the existing. Very nice tribute to past pups and Frango is gorgeous!
