Is there a way to correct for green pet eyes, I tried the red eye tool but doesn`t work. Everytime, I have to zoom in the eyes and with a brush, darken the green while leaving the middle shining part. A few of my puppy`s pictures have that green. Is there an easier or faster method??? Thanks for your help!

Carl,
There isn't a quick way of doing it ... I just wish that there was :)

Thanks for the question, carl. And Mike, thanks for the link. I've had the same frustrations, just didn't have the presence of mind to ask here.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 3 Classroom in a Book teaches an effective way of doing this using the Color Replacement Brush tool. Set Foreground color as desired (say, black). Select Color Replacement Brush tool. Select Luminosity mode and Once for sampling. Set brush size slightly smaller than pupil area being edited. Painting "red eye" portion of the pupil changes the color to selected Foreground color. You don't have to worry about keeping the brush within the pupil area, as the tool will replace only the sampled "red eye" color. Any catchlight reflections are left unaltered.
