I was looking at your gallery and really liked "First Day of Spring". How did you create it. It looks like you might have used the Christmas ornament tutorial from the magazine.

Hi! I just leave that photo there so you can find out where to get this great plug-in--FREE!

http://www.ulead.com/download/freeparticle/download.htm

The pic was taken with my first 2.0 MP HP camera and that was the first time I used the bubbles--just goofin' around. It's a fun plug-in!

The plug-in winds up in your filters after installation.

Thanks so much Betty. I do recall several months ago trying to download from them and their site was down for maintenance for days. I forgot about it and never went back. I'll check it out as soon as I get home.

:( Since the download is an .exe file, I guess it's not available for Mac? :( If I'm wrong, someone please tell me. I'd REALLY love to have this plug-in.

I have bubbles!!!!:D This is my oldest daughter when she was flowergirl at my brothers wedding. I added the bubbles just to test them out. She is now the bride in my gallery but this has always been one of my favorite pictures. It's a scan so the quality isn't the greatest but still fun!

Oh, that really adds a nice effect to that picture. Now you have to put the flower girl and a bride picture together... (I'm good at thinking up projects! :)

Excuse me for being confused about this Plug-in, but if it's a ULead plug-in, then how and where do you use it in PSE. Does it just automatically install, or do you have to put it somewhere.

Does becoming a member require anything else besides your name and password.

I would appreciate any help you can offer. I'm not very familiar with Plug-ins, and I don't want to download something that I won't know what to do with after it's downloaded. I really would like to be able to make the bubbles like Betty has in her gallery and like Nancy has done with the wedding picture.

Thanks Ray and Kay.

You just sign up with your email and then you can download this. When it finishes downloading you have to install it via the execution file. It was 'confused" on my computer because I have 3 versions so I had to tell it where to install. Once done, just open Elements and you will find it under your filter dropdown menu.

Good idea Kay - I'll see what I can do.

Nancy--Isn't that Fun?!? You can teach yourself to adjust them, make them bigger, and more or less of them. It's all great fun!

Dorrie--just click to install and it will end up in your Filters menu of PSE. I had them in 3.0 and now in 4.0 also. Some plug-ins require that you know where to put them, but this one just goes where it's supposed to, as I remember.

Okay I understand the download, but when you say "Tell it where to install it" do you mean, just what version of PSE (Main Program file) or do you also have to say a particular folder in PSE.

Dorrie--I had a bit of a problem because I had it already on PSE 3.0 and I kept my 3.0 when I installed my 4.0, so it didn't know where to put it (& it will ask you if it doesn''t know.) So I took it off of my 3.0 and then it went right into my 4.0 correctly.

Just try it, and see of it knows where to put itself, then someone can help you if it doesn't. I understand what you're feeling because I'm not a "youngster" and get nervous about doing anything out of the ordinary with my computer--I love this computer and don't want anything to happen to it!
But, as I remember, Gary H. came through for me when I needed a liitle help with installing that plug-in in PSE4.0.

I'm sorry, Dorrie, but I don't know enough about computers to advise you. Perhaps you could put a shout out to Gary H. and he would advise you.

:) Not to worry Betty.........I got it to work in both versions (3 & 4). I really don't know what I did, but it finally installed and works wonderful. Thank you so very much for posting this download and your help in installing it.

And Nancy thank you too for your help....

I got the bubbles plug-in but what I wanted was to put a picture within a bubble. Is that the same as putting it in a globe?

I think so. After I downloaded this it appeared it would not work for what you want to do. I think the snow globe would probably work. I did look around today and could not find one anywhere else that seemed like it would work.... but I'm still looking.

Nancy, I downloaded the plug-in but I don't see it. do I need to move it manually to my plug in folder?

It is a executable installation program. You need to double click on it to get it going. It should install from there with no problem.

Punkinsmom

Yep, I got that part, it starts to install and the only window that pops up is one that explains what the plug in will do and all I can click on is Finish. I'm not given any windows to select a destination or anything.

I figured it out.......my anti virus software was interferring with the installation! Once I turned it off it was a snap. Man do I feel dumb. I woke up in the middle of the night and it just came to me. I'll post a "bubble" picture later this evening that I started on this morning. Need to do some fine tuning on it. Thanks for all your help!
