Creating a bubble effect.

In my effort called "The Seventh Seal" I would like to create a bubble effect for the caricatures of the seven deadly sins. Anyone have any suggestions?:confused: (It is in my gallery).

Nancy, I tried to use the 3-D effect without success so I used the spiral only.
