Hi,
first thing, I didn't take these photos, they are from a web site (copy right free).
I've never been to the Arctic or to the north of Canada which is where the photos were shot.
I think they are as cute as buttons and this is my attempt to show their beauty.
How people can kill creatures like this to pander to the fashion trade is beyond me.
Hope you like it. Comments appreciated.
Kev.

They are absolutely adorable! I agree - how anyone can do that is beyond me. But then that's a soapbox I won't get on or you won't be able to stop me. You have done a really nice job on that and chose beautiful images to get the point across.

Kev-they are the most beautiful creatures! It's not politics-it's an appreciation for the wonder of nature over greed.

Kev- beautiful montage! How did you frame the one in the top left?

Aren't they the sweetest. I too can't understand why they are slaughtered, especially in this age of synthetics.
Nice montage!

Kay , Sherrie,
pleased that you like it.
The oval frame on the top left was quite easy, I used the elliptical marquee to to make an oval selection, gave it a large feather ( this is at 300 ppi - for printing) of 50. Then I used the eyedropper tool to select a colour from the area the image was going to be in and put a stroke round the ellipse. It worked quite well.

Kay,
my pleasure, it was a question of trial and error.
Hope you find a use for it some day.

For some reason, I really like the one on the upper right.
A lot of personality coming from that one.

Hi,Kev! Beautiful job on the seal pups!Even tho' I'm a staunch Canadian,I can't defend the killing either-there's no place in modern society for that sort of thing.
