If this works I'd like an idea on how to make the horse in the middle lighter. I have tried an adjustment layer it it just didn't suit me. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Sue

Hi Sue,
That link doesn't work... is the picture in your Gallery? Can you upload it via pixentral?

Thanks, Kay! Guess I used the wrong ID #. How did you determine what the number was?

Thanks Kay,
Sue - The Shadows / Highlights command does a reasonable job (under Enhance > Adjust Lighting)
Just a quick go to show you:

Sue- I just clicked on it from the browse all galleries option, available from the main gallery page. when you choose browse all galleries, you can see the latest additions, and I knew yours was there b/c I had seen it earlier. It's a nice image, I really like the snow being kicked up!

That does look better, Mike. I've played with this picture almost all afternoon! Should have posted earlier and saved myself a lot time. You can no doubt tell I'm a newbie but the only way I know how to learn is jump in and try it.
Thanks a bunch!

Sue,
That's often the best way to learn, but the Forum is always here to help :).
In the version I posted, I just accepted the setting suggested by PSE, which was Lighten Shadows at 25%, Darken set to 0% and Midtone Contrast also at 0%. You can try adjusting the Lighten and Contrast settings to get the result you desire.

Hi Sue ...
If you want to add a link to your Gallery in your signature ... then here are the instructions:
Click on User CP at the top of the page then on Edit Signature and copy and paste this into it:
[333url=http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/viewgallery.php?user=xxxx] My Gallery[/url]
Where it says My Gallery type in what you want to show in your signature.
Now remove the 333 and where it says xxxx type in your user number. Make sure that you don't add any extra spaces ..
To find your user number ... click on Access my Gallery then click on "Share my Gallery" and you see the user number there.
