That is lovely Kev. You seem to be very quick at making new projects. I want to attempt a montage but I have been feeling a bit too tired lately and like to be fresh when tackling something new. I needed added energy for frustration when things don't work!!!

Nancy and Shari,
Thank you.

The best advice I received was from Wendy & Jodi - if things are not going right - walk away, have a coffee or do something else for a while and then come back and you will see things differently and this may help to solve your problem.

Hi Kev ...

Oh those are beautiful images and I do like your montage layout ... nice idea using grass as the background :)

Thanks Wendy,
I thought the grass was right for the BG as in a way it's a close up too.

Thank you Kev :)

Alice, I really love photographing birds and ducks (and we have some beautiful ones here) but I don't know the names of the ducks :o ........I just think they're beautiful :)

Mel,
I love your montage. I need to do that for some of the pics I took last Oct during a week-long photography workshop. I have some nice shots but some of the pics kinda lack interest by themselves. A nice montage would work great to display them. Thanks for sharing that! :)

Thanks All.
The birds I've used up to now in various montages are, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Robin, Jackdaw and Goldfinch. If I used more, I can't remember them.
My favourite is in my Gallery, with the Robin and Goldfinches.

Thanks,Kev! The little robin is my favourite, too! Our robins are a lot bigger, and definitely not so delicate looking. They are our harbingers of spring, tho',and are always welcome. They're a hoot to watch when they go worming-they hop along, turn their heads so that they've got an ear near to the ground, and boom! They've bagged a big juicy one.We love 'em!(The robins, that is.Altho' the worms are cool, too!)We also get goldfinches, tho' right now they're in their winter duds.Ours don't have the red markings.
