Well I finally took the plunge and became a subscriber today.

I must say I was a bit overwhelmed when I entered the subscribers section............so much information

Anyway I'm glad I did it and now I can start all those new things I'd been wanting to try out ;)

Hi Mel ...

So pleased that you decided to subscribe ... you won't regret it :)

I see that you already have your Gallery up there ... its looking really good!!

If you want to do the signature link so that you just have a Gallery name then here is how I did mine:

Click on User CP at the top of the page then on Edit Signature and copy and paste this into it:

[333url=http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/viewgallery.php?user=xxxx] My Gallery[/url]

Where it says My Gallery type in what you want the name of your gallery to be..

Now remove the 333 and where it says xxxx type in your user number. Make sure that you don't add any extra spaces ..

To find your user number ... click on Access my Gallery then click on "Share my Gallery" and you see the user number there.

Wendy what is my user number? Is that the number I received when I subscribed, the one I used to get into the subscribers area?

:o oops...........I'm just a wee bit preoccupied with all this new information. See this is what I thought would happen......."system overload" :D (being my brain)

I've been looking at some of the video tuts and have already learned alot of new things :) It is so much better than learning from a book.

I just keep telling myself....one thing at a time - one thing at a time :D

Thanks Wendy

Hey, Mel. You're going to LOVE being a subscriber. It has changed my life . . . well, actually, I used to HAVE a life other than this forum, but now I can't live without it! Enjoy working your way through all the tutorials. They are marvelous.

I know exactly what you're talking about......I'm starting to feel the same way. The more I visit this place the harder it seems to pull myself away and actually do some work ;)

Mel, I love your gallery. Love how those two birds seem to be "visiting." Ha! I haven't gotten up the nerve to post anything yet but you've inspired me. Maybe this weekend!

I, too, like those two birds over the photo of the trees and the fence. You did a nice job selecting them! I've found things like feathers and hair to be challenging.

Mel - you will be sooo happy. As you know I still ask a lot of questions but it is so nice to have these people here when something does not go right. Be prepared to spend hours ... and hours ... last night I just caught the vegetables on time before the water boiled dry and would have probably started a fire - and this was with the time dinger on the stove to remind me!!! It did take several months before I got my first newsletter (on Tuesday) but really there is just so much information to keep you going it does not matter. I should be out right now taking pictures. It is a beautiful day here. Please keep posting photos in your gallery because I think we all get ideas from others. Now I am going to get into the whole thing of printing so I can make cards and I am sure that will bring up more questions. Anyway - Enjoy!!!!
