I have done a couple more of the "magic circles" and am having trouble putting my signature on them.

Background layer is the original square image - copied layer
Background layer copy, I deleted the background around the flower - copied layer
Next I applied the filter>distort>polar cordinates>etc - copied layer
used the paint bucket to fill in the background
applied some noise
then tried to apply some text - I tried on each layer and it did not matter which layer I used, the text ended up with marching ants around it - why?

Karen,
You may be using the mask type tool. Check that you are using Horizontal Tool. If you are try resetting the type tool.
