Hello. This is my first post. I really enjoy the forum as well. My wife bought photoshop elements 4. I have "played" around with it and love it, but I have some questions. I hope that you don't think that I am stupid or anything like that.
I just can't figure out how to incorporate several pictures onto/into each other. I tried the tuturial about layering already.
Are there any other tuturiols or free training available ( not counting the ones on this site) ?
I am sure that I will have many more questions.
Thanks again for your help.

Hello and welcome to the Forums, Andrew!
Here's a good source of tutorials for Elements :
http://myjanee.home.insightbb.com/tutorialselements.htm
Incorporating image is really simple : Open the first image, press Control-A then Control-C. Open the second image then press control - v. That'll put the second image on its own layer. Then, if you need to resize this image, press control-t, and click and drag one of the corner handle while pressing the SHIFT key to maintain proportion.
Hope this helps!

Welcome Andrew.
There are several links in the Helpful Links section. Wendy's mini tutorials are one of your best bets since they are written specifically for Elements. They're in that section.

Hi Andrew.......welcome to the forum.
There are always several ways to do thing in Elements. But here's one simple way.
1. First open a new blank document to whatever size you want, let's say name it "collage".
2. Open the picture you want to put on that blank page. Select the picture and go back to the file "collage".
3. Make a new layer in "collage" then go to edit and paste and that picture should be on the new layer you have just created in "collage"
Those steps can be repeated over and over. Just make sure that when you go back to the "collage" file you always create a new layer to paste the picture on that you have just copied from another file. By having each picture on its own layer you can then move them around and do whatever you want with them.
Do you need any help on selecting that picture so you can copy it?
EDIT: Andrew, this is perhaps a bit wordy. I think other people may have put it more simply as I was busy typing.
