Robyn,
It should read Tim not Thomas.
If I've got this right, this is the link.

Kev, that is really lovely. I like the delicate colours of the sunflowers that are not yellow - well done :) Did you realise there is a row of flowers coming from the top left hand corner to the bottom right hand group of flowers? It is more noticable (to me) in the thumb nail than the larger image.

Karen,
glad you like it.
When I cropped the photo I noticed the way the flowers ran, they reminded me of the Daisy Chains we used to make long, long ago.:)

Hi Kev,

Nice picture.. is it a place you visited? Should have been very special to see all those big yellow flowers!

Yes Kev, I remember the daisy chains but we used what we called dandylions - have no idea what their botanical name is :D We would make them long enough for a crown and prance around them on our heads ;)

Kev,

That's beautiful! I'm partial to sunflowers, I plant several long rows of them every spring behind our old horse fence. When you see whole fields of them like that, they are usually grown for the seeds (bird feed). Tim's effect worked great on that image.

Kev ...

I wonder how an image would look that picked out and emphasised the chain of flowers ? ... I think that it could be really effective :)

Hello All,
Thanks for comments.
The photograph was taken in Jersey where they are grown both for seed and sunflower cooking oil.

Wendy,
I'll have to think about your suggestion, it would take quite a while to do, but it would be effective.

Kev:) :) :)
