Dull Colors

I am working on an invitation and grouped two images together to get a golf ball with a flag on it. I like it except that the colors of the flag got washed out when i grouped. I want to keep the dimples visible so I could only change the opacity so much before they disappear. Any ideas? This is the first time I have used a link in a message. I am new at this. Hope it works!

Hi BJ ...

I guess that you grouped the flag and the golf ball together .. its a trade off when you do something like this as its not possible to keep all of the details and colours from both images.

You could try changing the layer blending mode of the flag .. Go the the layers palette put the opacity back up to 100% on the flag then try out all the different layer blending modes and see which looks best. Darken may work ... but its hard to tell without actually doing it ..
