In the latest magazine, DC gave a tip of previewing different fonts by choosing the text layer, going to the font choice on option bar and hitting the down or up area to scroll thru them. I am using pse7 on windows xp, and tip is definitely not working for me, is this an apple only deal?

I'm not sure if this will work in XP but you might try http://groan-zone.net and download their utility "Font Viewer". It's free, independent of Photoshop and lets you view any of your installed fonts.

Hi Eric,

I have PSE7 on Windows 7 and that tip works for me.

1. Make sure the Text layer is active in the Layers Palette.

2. Go to the Options Bar and click on whichever font name is visible in the box to highlight it.

3. Now use the up and down arrows on your keyboard to move up and down in the font list.
