Hey,
http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/viewgallery.php?user=352
I finally got around to setting up a gallery. Shots from '05 were with XT, earlier with G3, all at least touched up/cropped, etc., in Elements(since Nov '05)
As you can see, I mostly do landscapes.
Very interested in any feedback. That's how we learn!

Hi Barry,
I just took a peek at your gallery -- Great Photos. My favorite is the one with the arch and the mountains in the background.
Thanks for putting them up for us to see.

PS ... If you want to add a link to your Gallery in your signature then:
Click on User CP at the top of the page then on Edit Signature and copy and paste this into it:
[333url=http://www.photoshopelementsuser.com/gallery/viewgallery.php?user=xxxx] My Gallery[/url]
Where it says My Gallery type in what you want to show in your signature.
Now remove the 333 and where it says xxxx type in your user number. Make sure that you don't add any extra spaces ..
To find your user number ... click on Access my Gallery then click on "Share my Gallery" and you see the user number there.

Simply stunning! I absolutely love landscape photography and dream of making it to a place like this. I have the Sierra Nevadas, Glacier mountains and Grand Canyon on my "someday while I'm still breathing" list.

Thanks Wendy; I appreciate the comments, and the link suggestion, however, I must have done something wrong, as it's not working. I PM'ed you about it.

Wow, just visited your Gallery. Loved all your pictures. How long have you been at it. I've just started getting into photography about a year ago with a little 3.2 megapixel Olympus. Then I went to a 6.3 Fujifilm and now I just upgraded to a digi Canon XT Rebel SLR. Love it. But, there is so much to learn about photography and so much to remember.
I hope my Gallery pictures someday look as great as yours. I'm into the animal thing right now.

Thanks very much, nkeevers. I appreciate the kind remarks.
I had a Canon AE-1 for about 20 years, before it and all my gear was stolen!!
Just got into digital 3 years ago with the G3, and the XT last July. It was like a whole new world, so different from the AE-1. And that doesn't begin to mention digital processing!! A WHOLE ne learning curve!
Light and comp does take some experience and a lot of trial and error, and you never stop learning, or at least trying to improve. I always think about Bob Ross: "there's no mistakes, just happy accidents!!"

Hi George.
Thanks a lot.
Yes, used a circ polarizer on outdoor shots, especially in sunny or cloudy conditions!:D
(Sorry, I couldn't resist!)
Usually, only in very low light conditions; sunup/sundown, do I go without.

:) Thanks Barry for your reply !
I too use a B&W polorizing filter for some of my photo's..it gives them a much better saturation of "colour"
Regards
George:)
