Problem with Get Photo and Nikon Scanner

I just got PS Elements 4 and a Nikon 5000 slide scanner. When in the Album section I tried to access the Nikon scan software with get photos. The process goes well until I look at the picture in Elements and all I see is a small strip of the image not the whole picture. If I am in the editor section of Elements and do an import from scanner the imported image looks fine. Is there a way to get the Slide scanner to work with the Get Photos section in the Album?

I would always scan from the Editor. Is there a reason you would prefer to do it from the Organizer? I think of the Organizer (Album) as you would a regular real paper album. Get the pictures from the developer and then put them in the album. :)

I solved my own problem by installing my HP scanning software after installing the Nikon software. I think there must be a problem with the Nikon TWAIN program.
