Woe is me, somehow I lost my paid for upgrade of QuickTime which enabled me to save tuts with the click of the mouse. Previously when this occured I downloaded the free version and since I had saved my upgrade key, I was able to restablish the program. Now however, since QT is a later version, my key will not unlock the program, hence I'm unable to save. So, I tried the older method of searching for the videos using MS file search to obtain and save the downloads.
Lo and behold, none of the latest downloads appear in the search results.
Any help will be gratfully appreciated. I really do not want to pay Apple for another upgrade.
The downloads must be in a temp file someplace, but I can't find them
Thanks, everyone !!

If you are using Internet Explorer, then click on "Tools", then "Internet Options", then "Settings", then "View Files" and look near the bottom under file type for "Quick Time Movies". You can then copy the file and paste it in a folder of your choice.

Hi Dorrie,
I used your method successfully when I was taking online classes but when viewing tutorials I dont see the Quicktime movies in the directory you mention. Am I doing something wrong? :o
Thanks.

Hector,
Before you run the video, go into Tools, then Internet Options and in Temporary Internet Files, click on "delete files". This cleans up the temporary internet file folder a bit and the video should be near the bottom of the list.
Remember to keep the video open (after playing) while you look into the Temporary folder.

Hector,
Do as Dave suggested, and also remember to run the video to the end before searching for the file in the Temporary Folder. Dave suggests to leave the video open and maybe in your case it will help, but I do not do that and yet it is in the Temp folder when I search for it. It sure doesn't hurt to try all suggestions, because what works for one may not work for some one else.
Good Luck, Dorrie :)
