Hi All,

I have been looking at some of the videos which are, as many of you suggested, are wonderful, but quite slow to download.

Before joining, my last question is about the differences between elements 2 and 3. I called the subscription number and asked if there were any tutorials or videos for elements 2 and they said NO. They also said it might be confusing if I have 2 and everything is done for 3 and 4. What do you seasoned users think?

Are there enough differences for me to get confused and frustrated by watching videos for elements 3 or 4 if I have 2:confused:

Thank you in advance,
Shakhina

Hi Shakina ...

Do you mean the Videos in the subscriber area? ... if so then I don't think that it will cause too much confusion ... and if you do have a problem with any of them then you can always ask on the forum.

Some of us still have PSE2 installed and will be happy to help you :)

I would suggest you upgrade to elements 4. There is a BIG difference between elements 2 and 3, and since 4 just came out with some additional goodies, I would suggest you upgrade.

Hi Linda,

Thanks for the suggestion,

I received the elements free with My wacom pad my main program has been CorelDraw but I have had trouble learning CorelPhotoPaint so I finally gave in and decided to learn the elements program I was given 2 years ago!

So I will keep that in mind, but for now I can't invest any more money into these graphics programs:)

Hi Shakina ...

For now I would stick with Elements 2 ... and just see how you get on.

Certainly no need to rush into upgrading ... :) The biggest chande in the versions was between PSE2 and PSE3 and quite a few people here have stayed with PSE3 as there are some distinct disadvantages to PSE4 ...

Here is a link to some info on the differences between the versions:
