I've never done this before so need some help. I just scanned a 4x6 photo and sent it to my Elements 3.0 When I look at this photo in the Photo Browser I see my image located in the upper right hand corner and the rest of the individual square in the browser is white. Does this make sense? In other words, my image doesn't take up the whole space. How do I fix this so it looks like all the other photos in the brower?

Hello and welcome to the Forums, peggyb!
When you scanned you image, did you define the area you wanted to scan ? The scanner sees the whole plate, however, you picture doesn't fill it, so you need to select the picture.
What kind of scanner do you have?

ya with my scanner I first do a preview scan to be sure I'm getting what I want and then use the option to just select the image and then do the final scan.
