I am scheduled to help someone get their digital photos from their camera to their computer and work on them. Only she has Microsoft Picture It and my experience is Photoshop 6 and PSE 2.
Is anyone aware of any good websites/forums/tutorials that address Microsoft Picture It?
Thanks
Karin

I think there was a series of tutorials on the CD or in the help section. That's what I used to run, 5 years ago.

There isn't much to the program. You can do basic stuff (red eye). It may be okay for making cards and calendars. If the person is new to digital photography, it is a good place to start. Try to get them into PSE. Bob

Hello Karin
Picture it is a easy straight forward program with options on the left and a layer pallet on the right. It will be easy for you to figure out in just a few minutes.

http://scrapbook-bytes.com/cgi-script/tutorials/publish/cat_index_36.shtml is an area with DIP tutorials. I am a new convert to Photoshop Elements 3 after years of the DIP 9 product. I still find it easier to make scrapbook pages and add soft edged frames in this software. Their clone brush is archaic in that you can not adjust opacity, thus necessitating the switch. I have made over 100 layouts with DIP 9 and only three or four with PE3, the first had a much shallower learning curve. You will do fine. Katy:) :)
