HELP PLEASE!

I'm going slightly mad here! :( I've probably asked this question before, but...................

How do you apply a hue/saturation layer on an image without it affecting the previous layer.

Thank you....

Hi Robyn ...

You need to group it with the layer that you want it to change ....

Do layer>New Adjustment Layer>Hue & Sat
then go to the layers palette
make sure that your adjustment layer is above the layer you want it to change
put your cursor on the line between the adjustment layer and the one to change
hold down alt and click.

It will then group the two layers add the colour change will only appear on that one layer :)

Thank you Wendy,

I had worked it out in the meantime. I know I've asked this question before, so................

I'm going to print it out AND STICK IT WHERE I CAN SEE IT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE! ......just in case I forget again.:o :)

Many thanks for your patience.

Robyn,

Some of us use Log book (sort of...) for the stuff we learn. I'm on Mac and I use MacJournal, but I'm sure there's something similar for the PC. With Mac Journal, I can make a selection, within my browser, and send it to Macjournal as a new entry. It's very cool!

That sounds like a brilliant idea Ray.

I wonder if anyone knows if there is something similar on a PC.....if so....could you let us know. Thank you.

Carol : It used to be free but it's been acquired and now it's a paying app. It's a stand alone thing, not .Mac related.

Wendy, just because I make my grocery list on my Palm, it doesn't mean everyone else will be that "electronically" wired :) Really, I was just teasing you, nothing bad intended :)

Ray-I found it on the guys website. Looks like it's being marketed by Mariner now. Are you using v.2.1? That's still on the website for download-will 10.4.4 support it? Thanks-:)

Carol,

I haven't tested all features. So tonight, or tomorrow night, I'll have a good run at it and let you if it's fully Tiger compatible.

Thanks, appreciate it-don't need anything fancy, but it sounds like a cool thing to keep all the forum tips and tricks organized...

I copy and paste and then print out a copy and place all in a three ring binder. I am using the binder just for photoshop stuff. That way I don't have everything all on the hard drive. And God for bid if the hard drive should every go I still have all of my info that I have collected so far.
